CAHSAH 2016 Annual Conference & Home Care Expo: Know Before You Go

This year’s annual CAHSAH Conference marks their 50th anniversary and will be held at the Anaheim Marriot Hotel on May 10th through May 12th. This particular association was one of the first to embrace and further solidify private pay as a part of the spectrum of care. They have been a voice not just for the home health and hospice agencies of California, but for post-acute care as an industry and we are excited to have Amir Kahn supporting this milestone anniversary.

Here are three great sessions you will not want to miss:


Adopting the ACA Philosophy for Success in the New Care Era 

Speaker: Arnie Cisneros, P.T., President of Home Health Strategic Management

No one has a better grasp on the future of post-acute care than Arnie Cisneros. He’s a voice to the industry providing needed guidance about bundled payments, the Affordable Care Act, and anything surrounding quality care improvement. You may be looking ahead with a great deal of unease and uncertainty, but you will leave this session having solid steps to help you maximize your company’s growth in the changing home-based services landscape. If you miss any session at all during this conference, make sure it’s not this one.


How to Manage the Numbers - Sales Metrics that Matter!

Speaker: Melanie Stover, COO of Home Care Sales by Powershot Training

While there are thousands of numbers you can gather about team performance, referral patterns and intake process, there are only a few that truly matter to managing a successful sales team. Speaker: Christine Lang, OCS by National Research Corporation 

Value Based Purchasing takes most of what we’ve learned over the past 20 years and throws it out the window. That does not mean that it is lacking in merit, but navigating this new system will require some change. This session will simplify what those changes look like and help provide guidance to be successful with VBP in the future.
