Last year, there was a buzz about having the New England Home Care & Hospice Conference at Foxwoods. I remember thinking, “what is the big deal about this place?” Well, on May 16th through May 18th, I am about to find out! This conference is an incredible opportunity for nine states to gather, place their collective minds together, and learn how to achieve their goals for the year. It feels like family at this conference and it is one of the few I look forward to above all others.

Here are three sessions you will not want to miss:

Successful Strategies for Home Health in Future Delivery System Models

Speaker: Susan Adams, RN, MPH, VP of System Integration for Masonicare

Change is here and more change is on the way. As an industry, we need to keep pushing towards better outcomes, process improvement and proper training to ensure that our teams are constantly striving to provide the best possible care. Not just because it is the right thing to do, but because reimbursements will be tied directly to it. This session outlines key strategies to move towards maximizing your outcomes and moving towards future success.

It’s All Here! Strategies for Quality Improvement AND Financial Success in Home Health Care

Speaker: William Simione III, Principal and Kimberly Skehan, RN, MSN, Senior Manager, Simione Healthcare Consultants

The future suggests a huge shift towards working across all aspects of the spectrum of care to provide the best possible outcomes for patients. In this session, William Simione and Kimberly Skehan will discuss realistic strategies to prepare your company for success as we move towards an integrated performance-based health care future.

Baby Boomer Boom! Six Pathways to Success in Marketing to the Mature Marketplace

Speaker: Don Marsh, Marketing Consultant

Don has spent over 40 years in senior marketing, published a book and hundreds of articles that capture the keys to connecting with the senior demographic. This session promises to be interactive and fun, while providing nuggets of motivation and education to help agencies establish their identity and reach their market.

Tuesday evening at 5:00 p.m., the Exhibit Hall opens and we’ll have an opportunity to meet up and discuss success in a changing industry. Plan to come by to booth #423 and meet up with Jason Dillon and I to discuss how PlayMaker CRM can help your company increase your referrals and the effectiveness of your sales efforts.
